From
time to time, your storage space runs out or
you are allowed to shred your documents (see
FAQ ). If this is the case, let Urban Shredding
Systems arrange for an Office Clean-Out. In
order for us to provide this service for you
effectively, here is the information we require
to get the job done:
To get started, here are some helpful hints:
- It is best to do an inventory of what materials you want to have removed. How many boxes or file cabinets full of material are there?
- Determine if the material needs to be shredded and if so, would you like to see it being shredded (On-Site) or are you comfortable with having the material removed and shredded Off-Site?
- Once you have decided what needs to be shredded, it is a good idea to mark the box with a heavy mark – FOR SHRED. This will help you keep your boxes organized and also it will be very helpful when Urban Shredding's staff arrives for pick-up.
- Call Urban Shredding to book your pick-up. Please have the following information ready so that we can book your pick-up efficiently and quickly:
- Total # of boxes for pick-up for Shredding.
- Do you want the materials that are to be destroyed On Site or Off Site?
- Where exactly is the material located and what does Urban Shredding staff need to do to remove it from your office or warehouse?
- Any other details that will help the pick-up go smoothly and quickly.

How soon can I get the materials picked up and shredded?
Urban Shredding Systems can normally book and complete your shredding pick-up within 7 working days, in many cases it is less.
If you need help moving the boxes or materials from your storage area – no problem, Urban Shredding Systems can also provide some extra labour to get this done.
